The 15th and 18th of November 2007 The World Oshukai Federation organised a series of seminars of Matayoshi Kobudo and Shorinryu Karate in Cameroun (Africa) . The seminars were led by the president of the World Oshukai Okinawa Shorin-Ryu Karate Do Kobudo Federation Hanshi Kenyu Chinen - 9 dan. Local TV and press were present at the seminars very interested about Chinen Sensei first visit in Africa. The Branch chief of the World Oshukai Federation in Cameroun is Godefroy Koum Sensei. He is a student of master Chinen.
